Sylvotherapy also known as Shinrin- Yoku ( Forest Bathing), is the practice of immersing oneself in nature to improve one's mental and physical health. This is not just a walk in the woods, it is an immersive healing experience for all senses. Through guided, mindful walks, you will touch, taste, see, hear, and smell nature. This experience will help decrease stress and anxiety, improve blood pressure and help the nervous system. Separate from or combined with specific yoga practices done in open spaces can help with full well being.
What to expect at a session
You will be welcomed, and i will help you establish a mindful mindset that will help you transition away from your daily stresses. I will then, as we go along, will offer invitations to help you connect with the forest. Along the way there will time spent in quiet reflection, either sitting, standing, or walking to observe your surroundings. There will be gathering circles in between invitations for the group to share ( if you wish) what you are feeling and experiencing. The session will end with a tea ceremony, where we will give thanks for the experience the forest has given us.
Yoga will be a 1 hour session outdoors, consisting of mindful breathing and slow movements designed to help you connect with your surroundings
Join me and reconnect to nature and reconnect to you.

I have an approach to wellness that is deep rooted in nature. Being outside is the best feeling in the world to me. The sun on my face, wind in my hair, the smell of the earth after it rains. I am an avid hiker, skier, and rock climber which started me on this journey. I want others to feel the peace, calm and healing that nature provides that I do.
